- Offered only with hybrid variants
- No revision in prices
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has updated the Hycross with a new feature. Offered only with the hybrid versions, the feature is called Acoustic Vehicle Alert System or AVAS. Notably, the company has not revised the prices of this popular offering.

The AVAS feature is now available in the VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O) variants of the Innova Hycross. The feature, commonly found in EVs and hybrids, uses an acoustic alert up to particular speeds to alert pedestrians or other road users of the vehicle’s presence. The feature is aimed at warning users around the vehicle, thus reducing the risk of an accident.

For the uninitiated, the Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor, sending power to the wheels via an eCVT gearbox. Toyota claims a mileage of 23.24kmpl for the hybrid version. Also up for offer is a 2.0-litre petrol engine sans the hybrid tech.
